The vine of Les Morillons, planted in 1905 was cultivated by the Mabille
family of son father: Jules, Enogat, Bernard and finally Vincent Mabille and Pascal
Berteau.


Of a surface of 29 ares 30 centiares, it is made up in
great majority of the type of vine chenin and for a quarter of type of
vine menu-pineau, used usually formerly. For its 100ème birthday, we manually collected it by drawing
aside the least ripe bunches.
After a looked
after pressing and a washing, we obtained 1000 liters of a titrating must
17degrés of potential alcohol.
Fermentation, very slow, ran out until March 2006
leading to a wine of 12 degrees of alcohol and approximately 80 grams of
residual sugars per liter.
